In any event, no matter what it was Plazmic has finally updated their Content Developers Kit to bring in compatability for the BlackBerry Tour as well as the BlackBerry Curve 8520. This time though it didn't come in the way of a typical update, instead Plazmic just issued a 30MB update file which just added the needed files to the application it's self.  After a rough start, with the right file not being posted by RIM theme developers can now get down to making themes for the 9630 and the 8520 and we here at The BlackBerry Zone can't wait to see what new themes show up in the forums.

I am creating a web site for testers to register to hear about upcoming apps. There are a lot of details that need to be fleshed out, but heres a few ideas:

- Testers have reputation ratings, the best testers will get the best apps

- All users get to hear early about releases

- Discounts on apps for users

- many many more

At this stage, I am collecting interest for the initial set of users. I will likely start it off small and move to an invite only system until everything is ready.

Hello everyone, I figured it was time to write another blog about The BlackBerry Zone...

It's pretty amazing how far we've come in such a short time...

The site is less than 2 weeks old, yet we have almost 1500 registered members... and a big following on twitter as well
So a big THANK YOU to all of the loyal users out there...

Big things have been happening around here... int he last few days I'm sure you will all have noticed I have added not only The BlackBerry Zone Chat Room... but also added a "facebook style" IM system into the site... so I hope you all check it out!

So I thought I would finally write my first Blog on the Blackberry zone.
And no my first Blog has nothing to do with Blackberry phones….sorry lol

I just wanted to ask what is this world coming too? I swear no one believes the customer comes first anymore! And People are Jerks these days!

To start it off I’m really not impressed with Wal-Mart… We ordered a little motorized Jeep from Walmart.com. and was getting it shipped to store to pick it up locally. And we paid express shipping so we would get it in time for Kayannas birthday party. What do u know 6 days after ordering it no package. We finally got a phone number and called it and they lost the package somewhere in CA. What the heck. So they said we could wait up to 8 days or longer and maybe they would find it …lol Needless to say we cancelled it and got a refund… So now what.? We went to the local Wal-Mart to look for a different one. So were looking and they have them bolted to the shelf up high. So I asked the assistant manager to unbolt one so we could make sure Kay would fit in it considering she’s so tall. Whats he say oh no we cant unbolt them. So I say Well then I’m not going to buy one if I don’t know if she fits in it…like duh! Lol  So he says hold on and gets the Toy supervisor and she decides to unbolt it with an attitude I kid u not. Lol So this is why I’m not impressed with Wal-Mart!!!! Kayanna did fit and we did end up buying the little Dodge Viper one.
Next Why does Mc Donald’s ALWAYS have to screw your order up?
I swear I go there for 1 thing a sweet tea and what do I get form the window a Non-sweet tea….pathetic…Every time we go through the drive thru our order is messed up. I mean seriously how hard it is to read a computer screen and make an order Right!

Well this is my first blog entry here on the site... well... the first blog entry period... lol

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that has been supportive of our efforts on the site... Everyone has just been amazing, and we're growing so fast!!!
It's very early days yet, and we're going to be making many many more changes yet over the next few weeks... as well as giving away more free stuff! Who will get a Free Onyx?
